What does the course include?
The program covers the main areas of contest preparation. The focus is on practical application and training programming.
Contest Prep Physiology
You learn how an energy deficit and body composition changes affect the endocrine system and energy metabolism during a diet.
Assessing Contest Readiness
You set individual goals using sport criteria and evaluate an athlete's readiness to compete.
Sports Nutrition and Contest Diet
You program an energy-restricted, high-protein diet. The goal is to reduce fat mass and prevent muscle loss.
Training Programming
You plan the total load of resistance and aerobic training. The goal is to maintain muscle mass in an energy deficit and achieve the required physical appearance.
Psychological Coaching
A contest diet and body image dissatisfaction can cause mental stress. You address motivation, self-determination theory, and the athlete's overall well-being.
Peak Week and Transition Period
You master peak week methods, anti-doping rules, and program the transition period. The goal is to restore the body from the physiological changes caused by the diet.
"The program covers the entire contest preparation and recovery process supported by research evidence. It goes beyond simple diet and training programming."
IFBB Nordic Academy Webinar Series 2026
Attend our free live sessions. We provide evidence-based strategies for hypertrophy, fat loss, and longevity.
Smart Hypertrophy: Optimize Growth Without Burnout
Fix the biggest mistake of Q1: overtraining. Use the latest 2025/2026 biomechanics research, lengthened partials, and the stimulus-to-fatigue ratio to train harder by training smarter.
Optimal Diet Strategies for Gaining Mass
Athletes often gain too much fat or fear calories. We cover protocols for lean tissue accretion, the surplus sweet spot, and nutrient timing.
Contest Prep: Managing Fatigue & Muscle Retention
Dieting for the stage is physiological extreme sports. Learn how to reduce body fat while maintaining muscle. Topics: Diet Breaks, Refeeds, and managing psychosocial stress.
Advanced Hypertrophy Programming: Specialization Cycles
Bodybuilding requires illusion and proportion. When general programming stops working, you need specific protocols. Learn to prioritize side delts, lats, and quad sweeps to build a wider visual frame.
Peak Week Declassified: Water, Sodium & Carbs
You can't build muscle in a week, but you can ruin a physique in an hour. We evaluate old-school myths of drying out and provide a science-based approach to peaking, sodium loading, and pumping up.
The Recovery Diet: Solving the Post-Competition Rebound
The month after a show carries high risk. We distinguish between a traditional reverse diet and the clinically appropriate recovery diet to restore hormonal function quickly.
Female Physiology in Physique Sports
Women have different physiological needs. We review the physiological considerations for female Bikini, Wellness, and Figure athletes. Cycle-based training, peak week differences, and monitoring health markers.
Posing & Presentation: The Art of Displaying Muscle
A great physique hidden by bad posing places last. Posing is a skill you must coach. Learn to analyze mandatory poses, hide weaknesses through angles, and build posing stamina.
Evidence-Based Supplementation for Bodybuilders
Evaluate the marketing hype. We analyze supplements with Tier 1 evidence for hypertrophy and recovery in 2026. Creatine, Caffeine, Intra-Workout carbs, and health support.
The Coach’s Eye: Long-Term Athlete Development
